I regret putting my kid in Lawrence School HSR Layout Bangalore. Here are my concerns, common toilets for young boys and girls. Poorly maintained. Less number of helpers and cleaning staff, children many times get infected and fall sick. Teachers rush through courses without any individual attention to children. They don't even care if some children have noted properly from the black board or not. Many teachers scare or beat children in class and scare children that they will be taken to HM (headmistress) who can also be seen in school in angry mood and also beating/shouting at children. Kids come back crying many times. Primary motive of school management it appears is to make money without any concern for quality of education. For many years they have been using name of ICSE in their school name without any affiliation with ICSE. Affiliation to ICSE was very recently attempted. School has also lost the play ground (government land that was being used for many years) and are currently fighting a case for the same. (every PTM class teachers make parents sign a petition letter in favor/support of school management) in regard to the case.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Niraj. Many of parents already informed this to management. (But) Managemnet need to answer this ASAP. Since this is concern of many parents. Let management take it one by one but give more important and priority to this.
ReplyDeleteMAY BE THE ABOVE CONDITION IN IN 2009. NOW THE SCHOOL HAS THE BEST INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES AND BETTER CARE /PERSONAL ATENTION GIVEN TO ALL THE CHILDREN WITHOUT ANY PARTIALITY. IT IS ONE OF THE FEW SCHOOLS WHICH HAVE E BOARD[ELECTRONIC BOARD - WHICH IS LINKED TO THE INTERNET ] FACILITY AND WHICH IS USED IN THE CLASS ON ALL DAYS. THIS MAKES THE LEARNING PART FUN AND INTERESTING .

When We Studied In The School The Best What We Experienced Is Honesty, Dedications, Sacrifices From Both The Teachers and Then To Students.
Now We could See The Business In The Name Of Education.

The school has come up so good. there are some issues, but many has be resolved and they are taking up query class wise very year and trying to impliment the best and common interest of all class parents. When compared to not mentionable schools, they are not giving any false promise. but they are moving forward every year with some promises implemented.
